Active Listening activity (Shaun Neo)

Do you ever find yourself speaking up too soon?
Yes.

If so, how can you clear your mind to fully listen?
We can clear our minds of what we want to say before we say it, and listen to the other person and wait until he finishes talking before you begin to talk.

Do you ever find yourself wanting to jump in because you are eager to share?
Yes.

How can you channel your excitement into listening and wait for the proper opportunity to share?
I can think of what to say next, and try to process what they are talking about.

What else can you do to prepare for conversations with others?
I can think of a topic and elaborate on the topic in my mind.

Can we ask them up front what they are looking for?
It solely depends on the importance and sensitivity of the question.

How does it make you feel to be cut off in the middle of your thoughts?
It makes me annoyed and slightly impatient.
